If a shot was missed during automatic tracking or needs manual input, Shot Scope allows you to add it using either the mobile app or the web dashboard. Here's how to do it on both platforms:
Adding a Shot in the Mobile App
- Open the Round: Launch the Shot Scope app and select the round you wish to edit.
- Select the Hole: Navigate to the specific hole where you want to add the shot.
- Access Editing Options: Tap the menu button (three dots) at the bottom right of the screen.
- Add a New Shot: Tap on "Add Shot."
- Place the Shot: Tap on the map where the shot occurred. This will add the shot to your round.
- Adjust Details: If necessary, adjust the shot's details such as club used, lie type, or position by tapping on the shot label.
Adding a Shot on the Web Dashboard
- Log In to the Dashboard: Go to dashboard.shotscope.com and sign in to your account.
- Select Your Round: Choose the round you wish to edit from your list of completed rounds.
- Enter Editing Mode: Click on the round card and then click the "Sign off" button, followed by "Edit and Sign Off" to open the editing feature.
- Add a New Shot: Click the "+" button at the bottom right of the map view, next to the Save and Pin buttons.
- Select Club: Click on the club tag that matches the club used for the shot. The selected club will be highlighted.
- Place the Shot: Click on the map where you want to add the shot. This will insert the shot into the correct sequence within your round.
- Adjust Details: If necessary, adjust the shot's details such as lie type or position by clicking on the shot label.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your Shot Scope data accurately reflects your performance, leading to more precise statistics and insights into your game.
