The following article will take you through all the steps needed to sign off a round on the Shot Scope mobile app.

Log into your account
Open the app and log in using the email address associated with your account and chosen password.
Open the sign off feature
To open the signing off feature then follow these steps:
1) On the rounds page, swipe right on the round you want to sign off.
2) From the options that appear on the left side of the screen tap on the pencil icon.
Confirming your handicap
The first part of the signing off process is confirming your handicap. Tap on the drop down section under the 'Course Handicap' text. From the options that appear select the one applicable to you and tap OK.
Select your tee set
The next step is to select the tees you played from. To select tees, tap on the section 'Tees' text and then tap on the tees you played from, then tap OK
Creating a new set of tees
If the tees that you played from are not present on the drop-down you can create a new set by following these instructions:
1) Click on the '+' icon.
2) Once on the 'Tees' screen tap on the drop down and select the name of the tees you wish to create.
3) You will then need to go through each of the holes checking that the pars are correct, when you are happy the par for the hole is correct tap on the 'Review' button at the bottom of the screen.
4) If happy then tap on "Add Tees"
Selecting Stroke Index
An optional section is adding the stroke index for each hole.
1) Click on either Mens Stroke Indexes or Womans Stroke Indexes and tap Ok.
2) If the stroke indexes have not been created yet you can tap on create either Mens or Womans and tap OK. This will work the same as adding the tees.
3) You will then need to go through each hole and input the stroke index. Once done tap "Review" and then "Add Stroke Indexes"
Open the editing tool
The next step is to edit the round. Tap on the 'Edit' button to launch the editor. You will need to go through each hole and make sure the data is correct.
How to select a shot
To select a shot, tap the label with the club ID and distance hit on it. Once successfully selected the label should be highlighted blue.
A shot dashboard will appear at the bottom of the screen. This dashboard will include:
- Lie type
- Distance hit
- Distance left to hole
- More options which includes: Delete shot, Mark as Lost ball and mark as Positional shot
You are now able to edit this shot further.
How to move the location of a shot
Tap and hold the shot label/club you wish to move. The label will disappear and be replaced by a target when you are holding down on the screen. Move the middle of the target to new a position on the course and release your finger to update the location of the shot.
Another option is to use our "nudge" feature. You would tap on the shot you wish to edit. You can then use the plus and minus buttons to increase or decrease your yardage increments and then use the left, right, up and down arrows to move your shot along in those increments.
How to edit your lie type
You are able to manually edit your lie type.
1) Tap on the club icon you wish to edit. Then tap on the Menu button bottom right (3 little dots)
2) Tap on the box under "Lie Type" and select your desired lie. Then tap OK.
3) Tap Confirm and this will then be applied.
How to add a new shot
Follow the steps below to add a new shot:
1) Tap the '+' button at the bottom right of the screen. This will direct you to a screen with a list of the clubs in your bag.
2) Scroll and tap on the club that was used for the newly added shot and press "Continue". If your club isn’t on this list, then you will need to save your changes, exit the editing feature and add that club in the My Bag feature. Once you have added that club to your My Bag you can return to the editing feature and select that club.
3) Tap on the screen to place your new shot. You can then either tap and drag the shot to place it or use our "nudge" feature to move the shot. You would use the plus and minus symbols to select your yardage increment and then use the left, right, up and down buttons to move that shot to the desired location.
4) Your new shot will now be entered.
How to delete a shot
To delete a shot follow the instructions below:
1) Select the shot by tapping on the shot label.
2) Tap on the more options (three dots at the bottom right side of the shot dashboard) then tap on the red "Delete" in the top right of that box.
3) A pop up will appear asking you to confirm the deletion, tap Yes
4) Your shot will now be deleted.
How to add a penalty
Follow the instructions below to add a penalty:
1) Tap the '+' button at the bottom right of the screen.
2) A new box will appear with the option of 1 Penalty Stroke or 2 Penalty strokes at the top of the box. Tap on one of these. This will highlight in red. Tap"Continue" to proceed.
4) Tap on the screen where that Penalty shot should be. The Penalty stroke will be placed next to the shot and your score adjusted accordingly.
How to mark a shot as a lost ball
To mark a shot as a lost ball follow these instructions:
1) Select the shot by tapping on the shot label.
2) Select the more options (three dots at the bottom right if the screen) and tap where it’s says, ‘Lost Ball’ at the bottom of the page and tap "Confirm"
3) Tap and hold the Lost shot label and move this to the location of the lost ball. Release once done.
Your Lost ball has now been added.
How to mark a shot as a positional shot
1) Firstly, select the shot by tapping on the shot label.
2) Secondly, tap more options (three dots at the right side of the shot dashboard) and tap ‘Positional’ and then "Confirm".
3) Your shot has not been marked and this means it will not count towards your stats.
How to change the club used for a shot
To change the club used for a shot follow these steps:
1) Select the shot by tapping on the shot label.
2) Tap the Menu button (the 3 dots bottom right of the screen) Then tap on the "Club". This will bring up your available clubs.
3) Tap on the correct club and tap "Continue". Then tap on "Confirm"
4) Your club has now been changed
How to edit my putts
To edit putts, you must first enter the green view mode. To do this tap on the Pin icon at the bottom right of the screen. This will zoom the map into the green and allow for the putting shots to appear.
Then you edit these shots the same way as all other shots. To exit green view, tap the Pin icon again.
How to move the pin position
When editing a round, users have the ability to change the location of the pin. Simply click and drag the pin to the desired location. You can also use the left, right, down and up arrows to move the pin to the desired location.
How to exit green view
To exit green view, press the 'X' at the top left of the screen.
How to navigate between holes on mobile editing
To change the hole you are editing simply tap on the number at the bottom of the screen that corresponds to the hole you wish to edit. Once you move onto another hole the previous hole will update with a blue ticket indicating that this hole has been edited and you are happy with it.
How to save my edits on the mobile apps
To save your edits tap on the save button (floppy disk icon) at the bottom right of the screen. This will bring up your initial round screen.
Then tap on "Sign Off" to save your edits.
How to exit the editor
Tap the 'X' at the top left of the screen to exit the editor at any time. This will exit the editor and take you back to the Sign Off page.
Include the round in your stats or not
The final step before signing the round off is to decide if you want to include your round in your performance statistics and Share your round on Course Hub. The box will be ticked to include in your stats as default. To not include in your stats, tap on the box to un-tick.
Confirm sign off
Once you are completely happy with your round tap the 'Sign Off' button to complete the process. In order for 'Sign Off' to be enabled you must have viewed at least one hole in editing. If you make any edits to a previously signed off round you must press 'Sign Off' to confirm these changes.
